Position: Strategic Sales Executive

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving sales targets for professional services including; insight reports, consultancy and training
  • Achieving sales targets for enterprise-wide Radian6 licenses and data volume
  • Participation in strategic planning
  • Developing and executing a sales plan to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Generating and achieving monthly forecasts and accurately predicting monthly revenues
  • Supporting the sales process by developing “C” level contacts within prospects and existing account

Required Skills/Experience:

The strategic sales professional appointed to this position will be exceptional in both experience and ability and will have a detailed understanding of a range of sectors.

Short listed candidates will exhibit the following experiences and skills:

  • A substantial quality background almost certainly within the enterprise software industry, with significant professional sales and man-management experience.
  • Will have led teams responsible for major accounts and have experience of direct enterprise software sales in the enterprise solutions marketplace.
  • Will have managed and successfully delivered complex solutions, sales bids and campaigns.

Responsibilities

As Product Specialist & Consultant/Trainer your duties will include:

  • Adapting and delivering effective training for clients enabling them to use the system.
  • Updating/Maintaining/Creating training course material for new versions and/or new products.
  • Designing and facilitating of software training for clients.
  • Consulting with clients, providing advice on a technical and non-technical basis with regards to the system.

This position requires someone with a consultative approach in order to identify client requirements coupled with strong interpersonal skills in order to build rapport. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver effective presentations and training. You should also be self motivated with good documentation skills.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Educated to degree level
  • The ideal applicant will be a highly capable individual with demonstrable software training experience.
  • Having worked in a similar online environment or with comparable software the candidate will be a proven professional who can take responsibility for training and development of external training programmes for our clients.
  • Minimum two years software training experience preferably in the digital marketing arena.
  • Proven track record in training design and implementation (presentations, workbooks, practical working examples / exercises).
  • A sound knowledge of the processes involved in client training and excellent communication skills.

We are seeking proven, quota-carrying sales performers to help us grow our loyal customer base for medium-to-large corporate markets. Responsibilities include generating new business in existing accounts and in new markets, as well as playing a key role in driving enterprise-wide social media monitoring initiatives for companies. Additional efforts include: lead qualification for all leads and sales opportunities up-selling and leveraging business from new and established customer relationships.

Required Skills/Experience:

Your skill set should include solid sales forecasting and revenue achievement abilities, and experience in building a satisfied and loyal customer base. You should have a passion for sales and two or more years selling technology solutions experience.

6Consulting is looking for a highly capable Social Media Analyst to join the growing research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for research projects from initialisation to completion:

  • Project setup; researching organisations, markets and brands; preparing and conducting searches in a number of social media monitoring tools, particularly Radian6
  • Research; using qualitative and quantitative methods to collate accurate data and information
  • Delivering insight; using collected information and data to advise client brands, agencies and companies on social media strategy and tactics
  • Report writing; drafting reports and presentations of findings to a client ready standard

Person Specification

  • Degree educated, with relevant research training
  • Practical experience of applied qualitative and quantitative research
  • Highly analytical – able to absorb large amounts of data quickly and provide solutions
  • A passion for and understanding of social media and the real-time web
  • Possesses a real understanding of business priorities and marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal English, an eye for detail and the ability to draft client ready copy

What will be involved?

The program begins with a short period of familiarisation with our company, our product and our services, giving you the chance to get involved with and really understand all of the areas of the business. You then begin to specialise in your chosen discipline, entrusted with real accounts, projects and real responsibility.

Sales

If you choose our sales program, you will be speaking to potential clients; becoming an expert in the Radian6 system and other software technologies. You will be involved in building and maintaining strong business relationships, creating and finalising sales opportunities; managing accounts and providing ongoing support to current clients. You will be eloquent and persuasive, with an excellent telephone manner, as well as a fast learner.

Marketing

The marketing function revolves around the public perception of 6Consulting. You will be involved with monitoring Radian6 data surrounding our own brand; responding and engaging through social media platforms; assisting in the creation and maintenance of a company blog; representing the company at external functions; working across departments to ensure consistency of output; and developing broader strategy to keep our brand at the forefront of its field. You will be experienced using a variety of social media platforms, be able to think creatively about the way in which it can be utilised, and pro-active in implementing your ideas.

Data Analysis

The data analysis role is the backbone of our consulting service. If you choose to specialise in this area, you will be involved in collecting and collating appropriate data from the Radian6 software system; conducting related research; generating reports using Radian6; preparing and managing presentations; monitoring and maintaining the quality of database systems and securing access and use; assisting in development and upgrading of database systems. You will be interested in statistical data and software systems, and be able to produce succinct summaries of trends and implications.

We’re also flexible if you’re undecided and want a range of experience. It will be a challenging opportunity but you will learn as a result.
